Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and personable Barber/Stylist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hair styling and providing exceptional customer service. This role involves creating stylish cuts, trims, and treatments while ensuring clients feel comfortable and valued. Responsibilities

• Provide professional hair cutting, styling, and grooming services tailored to client preferences
• Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas and tools
• Engage with clients to understand their needs and recommend suitable styles or treatments
• Upsell retail products to enhance client satisfaction and increase sales
• Manage front desk duties including scheduling appointments, checking in clients, and handling payments
• Foster a welcoming atmosphere by demonstrating excellent communication skills and attentiveness
• Stay current with industry trends and techniques to continually improve skills and service quality

Qualifications

• Valid barber or cosmetology license required or 2 yrs cutting experience
• Proven experience in hair styling, cutting, and grooming techniques
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients
• Knowledge of sanitation standards and best practices in a salon environment
• Effective communication skills for engaging with clients and team members
• Ability to promote retail sales through product recommendations
• Experience working at the front desk or handling administrative tasks is a plus
• Professional appearance, positive attitude, and a passion for the beauty industry

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $1,200.00 per week
