Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about food preparation and providing exceptional food service. This role involves preparing and cooking menu items in a fast-paced restaurant environment, ensuring high standards of food safety and quality. The Line Cook will work closely with kitchen staff to deliver delicious meals efficiently and consistently, contributing to a positive dining experience for our guests.

Duties

  • Prepare, cook, and plate menu items according to recipes and presentation standards
  • Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including stations and equipment
  • Follow food safety guidelines and proper handling procedures at all times
  • Ensure timely delivery of orders to meet service standards
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations
  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate needs for restocking ingredients or supplies
  • Adhere to restaurant policies regarding serving, food handling, and sanitation

Experience

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred
  • Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods
  • Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
  • Experience with meal preparation in a fast-paced setting is a plus
  • Strong understanding of the food industry and kitchen operations
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
  • Excellent teamwork skills and a positive attitude toward customer service

Pay: $17.40-$22.40 per hour
