Junior Service Advisor

Position Overview

The Junior Service Advisor supports the Service Manager in the day-to-day operation of our busy service department. This role involves answering customer calls, gathering detailed job information, creating accurate work orders, and helping organize schedules. You'll work closely with both customers and technicians, making strong communication and organization skills essential.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to get started in the trades/service industry and grow into a senior coordination or dispatching role over time.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service & Communication

• Answer incoming service department calls professionally
• Discuss issues with customers and collect detailed job information
• Provide basic timelines, expectations, and updates
• Handle customer questions and concerns courteously

Work Order Creation & Data Entry

• Create accurate work orders in cloud based software
• Enter job notes, descriptions, priorities, and photos as needed
• Ensure correct job statuses and documentation

Scheduling Support

• Assist the Service Manager with organizing daily job schedules
• Coordinate with technicians in person and by phone
• Update schedules as jobs progress or change

Team Support

• Maintain clear communication with technicians and office staff
• Help keep the service workflow organized and efficient

Qualifications

Required:

• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Good computer skills and ability to learn new systems
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

Preferred (but not required):

• Experience in dispatching, scheduling, or a service-related role
• Familiarity with construction, trades, or overhead doors

Training will be provided for the right candidate.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
