UnlockLand is an AI-powered land development intelligence platform that helps developers, planners, investors, and property owners instantly analyze zoning rules, generate compliant site plans, and evaluate project feasibility.

As we continue expanding across North America, we are looking for a
Business Development Manager
based in Vancouver to drive our outreach, partnerships, and early customer acquisition.

This role is ideal for someone who understands the real estate ecosystem, enjoys meeting people, and thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial AI startup environment.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, reach out to, and build relationships with developers, planners, architects, real estate agents, and property owners.
  • Conduct product demos and guide potential clients through early onboarding and trial stages.
  • Gather market feedback and relay insights to the product team to influence product direction.
  • Support partnership programs with industry organizations, real estate groups, and professional networks.
  • Maintain a strong pipeline of prospects and assist in managing opportunities through the funnel.
  • Attend local real estate events, meetups, and conferences on behalf of the company.
  • Represent UnlockLand in a professional, confident, and trusted manner.

Qualifications

  • 2–5 years of experience in
    business development, partnerships, sales, or client-facing roles
    (ideally in real estate development, PropTech, SaaS, or related industries).
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Comfortable conducting calls, in-person meetings, and product demos.
  • Understanding of real estate development processes, zoning, or land evaluation is a plus — but not required.
  • Highly motivated, self-driven, and comfortable in a startup environment.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid setup (2–3 days per week in Vancouver).

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience working with developers, planners, or architects.
  • Experience in PropTech or SaaS.
  • Network within Vancouver's real estate community.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and outbound outreach tools.
