Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and cooking, with a strong focus on food safety and quality. As a Line Cook, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently while delivering delicious meals to our guests.
Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and guidelines.
- Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and marinating ingredients.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment, utensils, and work surfaces.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service and high-quality food presentation.
- Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and communicate needs to management.
- Participate in the training of new kitchen staff as needed.
- Follow proper food handling procedures to minimize waste and ensure freshness.
Experience
- 3-5 years of experience in a restaurant or food service environment in Ontario
- Familiarity with cooking techniques, food preparation methods, and kitchen equipment.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential.
- Experience in meal preparation and serving is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

- Must hold Food Handler certificate
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $17.20 per hour
Expected hours: 14 – 21 per week
