Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Insulator to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing insulation in various building projects, ensuring energy efficiency and safety standards are met. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects within a collaborative environment, contributing to high-quality construction outcomes.

Duties

  • Measure and cut insulation materials to fit designated areas according to blueprints and specifications
  • Install insulation using caulking, hand tools, and other necessary equipment
  • Read and interpret construction blueprints and technical drawings to ensure proper installation
  • Use hand tools such as knives, saws, and drills to secure insulation in place
  • Apply caulking or sealants to ensure insulation is properly sealed and airtight
  • Assist with the preparation of work sites, including cleaning and organizing materials
  • Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and safely
  • Conduct inspections of installed insulation for quality assurance and compliance with safety standards

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in caulking, handling hand tools, and working within the construction industry
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings accurately
  • Knowledge of insulation materials and installation techniques preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and safety consciousness
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Physical stamina to perform manual tasks in various environmental conditions
  • Prior experience working with or similar projects is a plus
  • Valid safety certifications or willingness to obtain necessary training prior to employment
