Job Description
Staffworxs is seeking an experienced
Kronos Developer
to support configuration, integration, and optimization of
Kronos Workforce Central
or
UKG Dimensions
systems. The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in Kronos modules, a strong understanding of HR/payroll integrations, and the ability to deliver scalable, compliant workforce management solutions in complex enterprise environments.
Core Responsibilities
System Development & Configuration
- Design, configure, and customize Kronos Workforce Central or UKG Dimensions modules (Timekeeping, Attendance, Scheduling, Accruals)
- Integrate Kronos with ERP and HR systems for seamless data flow
- Develop and maintain
Workforce Integration Manager (WIM)
interfaces - Perform system upgrades, apply patches, and troubleshoot technical issues
- Create and maintain documentation for configurations and workflows
- Develop custom reports and dashboards using Kronos reporting tools and SQL
Collaboration & Compliance
- Work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and validate requirements
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, union agreements, and internal policies
Required Experience and Skills
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with
Kronos Workforce Central
or
UKG Dimensions - Strong understanding of
Timekeeping
,
Scheduling
, and
Absence Management - Proficiency with
Kronos APIs
,
SQL
, and reporting tools - Experience integrating Kronos with
HRIS/Payroll systems
(e.g., Workday, SAP, ADP) - Knowledge of labor compliance, pay rules, and accrual policy configuration
Core Technical Skills
System Setup & Integration
- UKG Pro WFM configuration (Timekeeping, Accruals, Pay Policies)
- Device setup and management for
InTouch DX
or similar time clock devices - Integration with HRIS and payroll systems for end-to-end workforce data management
Data Management
- Expertise in
Workforce Integration Manager (WIM)
for data imports and exports - SQL skills for developing custom queries and workforce reports
Functional Knowledge
Labor Management
- Understanding of labor law compliance, union contracts, overtime rules, and rounding policies
- Ability to configure pay and scheduling rules aligned with business and legal standards
Operational Expertise
- Familiarity with
distribution center workflows
, including shifts, breaks, and scheduling logic - Experience configuring persona-based access (Manager, Supervisor, HR Admin)
Soft Skills
- Strong project management, communication, and collaboration skills
- Analytical and problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
