Do you enjoy managing and validating pricing and product data? Do you like making a difference through your initiatives and autonomy? Join our team as a Data Integrity Specialist
You will be responsible for validating all changes related to pricing and product files within the various databases. You must ensure that these changes comply with the established parameters and structure for prices and products, and that they can be processed and communicated seamlessly throughout the network (distribution centers and stores).
You will need to understand the functioning of our distribution network in order to grasp the connections between the relevant departments and have a comprehensive view of the impact of changes on the pricing/product pipeline as well as on customer systems.
Responsibilities:
- Manage updates of computer files within UAP's management system;
- Process supplier price changes and validate margin structures using variance reports;
- Handle product modification requests received from suppliers (number changes, substitutions, etc.);
- Oversee the creation of new product lines, families, and items;
- Ensure that all changes are communicated to the appropriate persons within the network;
- Handle special requests from product managers regarding inventory data;
- Produce reports for management.
- Degree in business administration, procurement, or a related field;
- Excellent communication skills in both French and English, spoken and written. You will regularly collaborate with internal clients across Canada;
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years' experience in a similar role within a multi-system environment;
- Strong computer skills (Excel, Access, Cognos).
