About

Overview
As a Design Coordinator, you'll be working within the Thames Water Major Projects team. The successful candidate will support the design phase of construction projects, helping to ensure delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will play a key role in leading engineering support, ensuring design excellence, and coordinating design stakeholders and deliverables on a varied and interesting non-infrastructure wastewater projects at Hogsmill Sewage Treatment Works (STW). Responsibilities
Optimising the engineering assurance process for designs developed by design partners Managing design change and serving as the primary point of contact for technical queries during both construction and design phases Collaborating with the client to understand and deliver their specific requirements Ensuring the engineering design team, design consultants, and construction partners develop technically and economically efficient engineering solutions Implementing and upholding design quality procedures, ensuring adherence to the 'right first time' philosophy. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in an engineering discipline or related field Experience working on complex technical projects and supporting on target delivery for time, cost and quality IT literacy and proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, Revit, BIM) Full driving licence Diversity & Inclusion
