The Data Analytics Manager, AVOD/FAST role sits within the Audience Insights & Analytics (AI&A) team, a global group responsible for audience, market, and predictive analytics. Our mission is to generate insights that drive revenue and inform strategic decision‑making for NBCUniversal’s Global TV Distribution business. This role will be an integral member of the AI&A team, providing analytics excellence and data expertise to the AVOD & FAST business, and the wider Global Distribution team. The role reports into the Vice President, Global Analytics & Measurement in London. Key responsibilities
Use advanced analytics to generate insights that will enable the international success of Global Distribution’s AVOD & FAST strategy. Develop and maintain an automated workflow for the international AVOD and FAST businesses – enabling dashboard reporting and analysis of audience data and advertising revenues. Use advanced statistical techniques and data modelling to complete analytical projects that are aligned with Global Distribution’s business objectives. Drive innovation by identifying and implementing advanced analytics tools, automation techniques, and process improvements that speed up the delivery of insights. Demonstrate data leadership through responsible governance, delivering data quality standards, and promoting a culture of data‑driven decision‑making. Function as a central point across the AI&A team for best practice Analytics, with a focus on making sure the latest capabilities are adopted and implemented by the team. Drive the team’s global automated reporting strategy, through dashboard implementation and best in class data management. Deliver the partner data transformation project of all audience facing data into Snowflake, alongside managing the ongoing partnership with the Business Solutions team. Translate data into actionable insights that shape content strategy, distribution, and commercial outcomes. The Candidate
This role would suit candidates with considerable experience in a reporting and analytics role that engages directly with business stakeholders Essential Skills and Qualifications
Strong SQL skills with hands‑on experience in writing complex queries involving multi‑table joins and advanced analytical functions. Significant experience with Business Intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau or Looker Studio. Strong grounding in statistical modelling, predictive analytics, and segmentation techniques. Good understanding of data architecture, cloud platforms (e.g., GCP, AWS), and data warehousing solutions (e.g. Snowflake, BigQuery). Ability to derive insights from large datasets and communicate to key stakeholders in a compelling way. Demonstrated success in linking analytics to revenue growth and strategic business outcomes. Enjoys working in a collaborative team environment with the ability to leverage resources and skillsets across various functional and technical domains. Excellent attention to detail, time management and organisational skills. Ability to work independently with ability to take initiative and prioritise workloads. Ability to remain calm and professional while working in a fast‑paced, constantly changing environment. Understanding of audience measurement, streaming trends, and media business models. An active interest in streaming platforms, social video and FAST channels, and a passion for TV and film content, is preferable. Additional Information
