About
We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to manage, maintain, and support our enterprise data center infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Dell EMC PowerFlex, PowerScale, VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF), and enterprise backup solutions. This role is critical to ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of our infrastructure environment.
Key Responsibilities
· Manage and maintain Dell EMC PowerFlex infrastructure including compute nodes, storage nodes, and management nodes
· Administer and optimize Dell EMC PowerScale storage clusters
· Support VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) environments
· Maintain physical servers and oversee virtualization infrastructure
· Manage patch management systems across VM platform
· Administer Dell EMC Data Domain backup infrastructure
· Configure and maintain 2 enterprise firewalls for network security
· Perform system upgrades, patches, and firmware updates according to best practices
· Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement optimization strategies
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure projects and initiatives
· Document procedures, configurations, and maintain accurate infrastructure records
· Participate in on-call rotation and respond to infrastructure incidents
Required Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience
· 5+ years of experience managing enterprise infrastructure environments
· Strong experience with Dell EMC PowerFlex (formerly VxFlex) architecture and administration
· Proficiency with Dell EMC PowerScale (formerly Isilon) storage systems
· Extensive experience with VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) and vSphere environments
· Knowledge of Dell EMC Data Domain backup and recovery solutions
· Experience with enterprise firewall management and network security principles
· Strong understanding of patch management processes and vulnerability remediation
· Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
· Strong communication skills and ability to work in team environments
Preferred Qualifications
· VMware Certified Professional (VCP) or VMware Certified Advanced Professional (VCAP)
· Dell EMC certifications (PowerFlex, PowerScale, or Data Domain)
· Experience with automation and scripting (PowerShell, Python, Bash)
· Knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Ansible
· Experience with monitoring tools such as vRealize Operations, Nagios, or similar
· Understanding of ITIL best practices
Pay: $96,327.77 - $116,007.64 per year
