Qualifications

· Being a person of integrity

· Minimum 2 years experience in construction is desired

· Minimum 2 years of installing drywall, mudding and matching texture

· Minimum 2 years flooring experience is desired

· Minimum 2 years painting experience

· Knowledge and skills to perform construction services as needed

· Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance

· Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (e.g., crawls spaces, attics)

· Ability to sit/stand/walk/squat for prolonged periods of time

· Ability to work with/around cleaning products/chemicals

· Ability to travel locally and out of state if/when necessary

· Ability to successfully complete a background check

· Ability to successfully pass a drug screen

· Effective oral communication

· Basic math skills

· High school diploma/GED

· Requirements: Applicants must possess strong skills in reading, writing, speaking, and comprehending communication and instructions effectively

· English is a requirement

Bilingual is a bonus

Key Responsibilities

· Providing construction services as required on small reconstruction projects

· Working with rough and finish carpentry

· Working with drywall – install, mud and blend new texture to existing

· Painting

· Assisting in installing pre-finished laminate flooring – Tile experience is a plus

· Should have own tools and experience with properly using them

· As requested, communicate information to customer and in turn update Construction Coordinator with all responses

· Work with customer on resolving punch list items

· Secure a signed Certificate of Completion and Certificate of Satisfaction from customer upon completion of project

· Perform construction services as required

· Ensure all work performed complies with the plans, specifications, local codes, and requirements of the scope of work

· Maintain quality standards through site inspections

· Maintain Cleanliness standards through entire project

· Perform reconstruction services within budget

· Identify areas outside the contracted Scope of Work and work with the Customer and Construction Coordinator for any desired additions to the project

Position Requirements

· Integrity

· Basic written and oral communication

· Basic math skills

· Experience in restoration and/or reconstruction preferred

Skills/Physical Demands/Competencies

· Willingness to learn and help the team

· Walking, squatting, standing throughout the day

· Performing construction services such as drywall, trim, paint, punchout, etc.

· Occasionally climbing ladders

· Occasionally exposed to extreme conditions such as heat in attics and crawl spaces

· The noise level at individual jobsites can be loud

Pay starts at $ $25.00 an hour based on experience, with the possibility of overtime pay
