Overview
The Marriott Energy Corridor is seeking an experienced and dedicated Housekeeping Manager to oversee the cleanliness and maintenance of our hotel property. This leadership role requires a strong background in hospitality and janitorial services, with a focus on maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and guest satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational skills and a proactive approach to managing housekeeping operations in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

  • Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping activities to ensure efficient operations and exceptional guest experiences
  • Lead, train, and motivate housekeeping staff to uphold cleanliness standards across all hotel areas, including guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house facilities
  • Develop and implement cleaning schedules, protocols, and quality control measures
  • Oversee floor care procedures such as carpet cleaning, tile maintenance, and surface polishing to maintain a pristine environment
  • Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, equipment, and linens, ensuring cost-effective usage and timely replenishment
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with health, safety, and cleanliness standards
  • Collaborate with other departments to address guest requests or issues related to housekeeping services
  • Maintain accurate records of staff performance, training sessions, and operational reports

Requirements

  • Proven experience in hotel housekeeping management or custodial leadership roles within hospitality settings
  • Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques including industrial cleaning, floor care, and janitorial practices
  • Familiarity with hospitality industry standards and guest service excellence
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Leadership qualities with experience training and supervising staff in a team environment
  • Knowledge of safety procedures related to industrial cleaning equipment and chemicals
  • Prior experience in hotel or hospitality environments is highly desirable
  • Ability to work flexible hours as needed to support hotel operations
