Position Summary
The Bartender / Mixologist is a key ambassador of the restaurant's beverage program and guest experience. This role requires a polished professional with a strong fine-dining and luxury hotel background, advanced mixology skills, and a deep understanding of service flow, presentation, and guest engagement. The ideal candidate is detail-driven, passionate about hospitality, and eager to grow with the company while contributing creatively and operationally to the bar program.
Key ResponsibilitiesGuest Experience & Bar Service
- Deliver elevated, refined, and personalized bar service aligned with fine-dining and luxury hospitality standards
- Engage guests with confidence and warmth, providing knowledgeable recommendations on cocktails, wine, spirits, and aperitifs
- Maintain composure, precision, and professionalism during high-volume and peak service periods
- Ensure consistency, accuracy, and presentation excellence for every beverage served
Mixology & Beverage Execution
- Execute classic and contemporary cocktails with precision and creativity
- Contribute to the development, refinement, and seasonal evolution of signature cocktails and bar menus
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of spirits, liqueurs, bitters, vermouths, amari, wines, and non-alcoholic offerings
- Follow standardized recipes, build sheets, and cost controls to ensure quality and consistency
- Assist with wine service when needed, including proper glassware, temperature, and presentation
Operational Excellence
- Maintain a spotless, organized, and fully stocked bar at all times
- Perform opening and closing duties, including mise en place, prep, breakdown, and sanitation
- Assist with inventory counts, ordering support, and waste reduction
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations
- Work efficiently within the tip-pool structure, supporting overall team success rather than individual sales only
Team Collaboration & Leadership
- Work seamlessly with servers, support staff, hosts, and management to ensure smooth service flow
- Support and mentor junior bartenders and barbacks when applicable
- Communicate effectively with FOH and BOH teams to anticipate needs and resolve issues quickly
- Maintain a positive, solution-oriented attitude that contributes to a strong service culture
Professional Growth & Company Development
- Demonstrate openness to learning, feedback, and continuous improvement
- Participate in training, tastings, menu rollouts, and service development initiatives
- Grow within the company into lead bartender, bar supervisor, or beverage leadership roles as opportunities arise
- Represent the brand with pride, professionalism, and consistency both on and off the floor

Qualifications
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in fine-dining restaurants and/or luxury hotels
- Advanced cocktail and mixology knowledge
- Strong understanding of wine, spirits, and classic service techniques
- Experience working in a tip-pool environment preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand for long periods, lift kegs/cases, and work nights, weekends, and holidays
