Duties

• Safely operate box trucks and other commercial vehicles to deliver goods to various locations according to scheduled routes
• Load and unload cargo using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual lifting techniques, ensuring proper handling and safety procedures
• Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to maximize productivity and punctuality
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting clients professionally, answering questions, and ensuring satisfaction upon delivery
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation, including logs, receipts, and delivery confirmations
• Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety standards are met and report any issues promptly
• Assist in warehouse activities such as inventory management, moving stock within the facility, or preparing shipments for delivery

Requirements

• Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier with a strong focus on route driving and customer service excellence
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driver's license (CDL) preferred but not required
• Experience operating box trucks or similar commercial vehicles with manual transmission capabilities
• Ability to lift heavy loads safely and perform physical tasks involving heavy lifting or moving items regularly
• Familiarity with warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks; certification is a plus
• Strong organizational skills to plan routes efficiently and manage delivery schedules effectively
• Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members
• Knowledge of safety protocols related to driving, load securing, and warehouse operations
