Elementary School Teacher Aide

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Elementary School Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment for all students. This role involves teaching various subjects, including literacy and math, while also addressing the diverse needs of students, including those with disabilities and autism. The teacher will play a crucial role in shaping young minds and supporting their academic and personal growth.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.
• Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration.
• Utilize effective classroom management strategies to maintain a conducive learning atmosphere.
• Assess student progress regularly and provide feedback to support their development.
• Adapt teaching methods to accommodate students with varying abilities, including those with disabilities.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues regarding student performance and behavior.
• Incorporate literacy education techniques to enhance reading and writing skills among students.
• Collaborate with special education staff to support the needs of students on the autism spectrum.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
• Experience working in private school settings is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong understanding of classroom management techniques and lesson planning skills.
• Knowledge of literacy education strategies and math instruction methodologies.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with diverse groups of people.
• Experience or training in working with children with disabilities, particularly autism, is highly desirable.
• Passion for teaching and commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment for all students.
