Shift Lead

SUMMARY

Be a Shift Lead/Ice Cream Maker at Please Come Again in Kailua – an artisanal ice cream shop that serves Hawaii-made ice cream with local ingredients. This is a leadership position that also makes ice cream. You must feel comfortable managing the shop on your own (including open and close) as well as other team members. Prior F&B experience required, bonus points if you love cooking/baking at home. You must also be able to operate as a scooptender: someone who loves to talk story and share their intimate knowledge of our product with the community, taking them through tasting tours and giving them the full PCA experience. You must be willing to work hard to pitch in on all facets of the business.

REQUIREMENTS

• Must have prior experience in food service establishment

• Must feel comfortable managing the shop alone (including opening & close)

• Must feel comfortable managing other team members

• Must have your Food Handler Certificate (or be willing to take the class to obtain one) - A genuine love and knowledge of the product

• Strong communication skills, can't be shy to share product education

• Flexible schedule with a willingness to work weekends, nights, and select holidays

• Commitment to perfect attendance

• Maintain organization and cleanliness of the store.

• Continuous cleaning, dishwashing, sanitizing, trash removal, sweeping, mopping, and bathroom cleaning are part of every shift

• Able to complete physical tasks involving moving large containers of ice cream and stocking shelves (lift 50 lbs)

• Must be hardworking, humble, and lead with positivity

• Thurs pm
• Fri 12-915pm
• Sat 12-915pm
