Discovery Outlet is a Locally Owned & Operated Discount Variety Store. We have been in business since 2018, and currently have 3 locations in Tennessee: Hixson, East Ridge and Cleveland.
We have new and different merchandise arriving weekly. Our prices start at 20% less than traditional big box retail stores. Our plan is to grow through retail commerce by offering quality name brand products at a discounted price. We are looking for additional Team members to help us achieve that goal.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Two years of Retail Management Experience
- Experience with Team Building
- Inventory Management
- Merchandising Experience
- High School Degree
- Associate degree preferred
- Ability to pass a background test
DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Lead a team 3 or More Team Members per shift using management techniques including but not limited to, delegation, follow-up, & corrective action.
- Cash Handling, Including Daily Deposits
- Scheduling
- Ability to work a rotating, flexible schedule, including evenings, holidays and weekends as necessary to meet the needs of the retail business.
- Provide excellent customer service, smile, greet and assist customers.
- Regular attendance is an essential function of the job.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Frequent walking and standing
- Frequent bending, stooping, and kneeling to stock merchandise, which may also require the ability to push and/or pull carts.
- Frequent handling of merchandise and equipment such as handheld scanners, pricing guns, box cutters, tape guns, merchandise containers, two-wheel dollies, pallet jacks.
- Frequent and proper lifting of up to 40 pounds; occasional lifting of up to 70 pounds
- Occasional climbing (using step ladder) up to heights of six feet
