Job Overview :

As a .NET Architect, you will lead the technical vision and implementation of enterprise-scale .NET solutions. You'll work across business and tech teams to design cloud-native applications that are scalable, secure, and aligned with business goals. You are expected to mentor engineers, enforce best practices, and help guide modernization and migration strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect enterprise-level .NET applications and frameworks with microservices and distributed design.

• Lead technical discovery and planning sessions; evaluate proof-of-concepts and adoption of new technologies.

• Define coding standards, conduct architecture/code reviews, and ensure performance, security, and compliance.

• Collaborate with stakeholders (business, UI/UX, security, infrastructure, QA) to align solutions with functional and non-functional requirements.

• Mentor and guide developers; drive knowledge sharing, technical best practices, and productivity improvements.

• Recommend architecture for database, messaging, DevOps pipelines, and cloud infrastructure.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's or master's in computer science or related field.

• 10+ years of software engineering experience & 5+ years in .NET architecture roles.

• Deep expertise in C#, .NET 6+/Core, ASP.NET MVC/Web API.

• Strong grasp of microservices, SOA, n-tier architecture, with hands-on UX frameworks like Angular, Vue, or HTML/CSS/JS.

• Cloud proficiency: Azure, preferably also AWS, including serverless, AKS, Logic Apps.

• Experience with CI/CD (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Git), unit testing frameworks, and DevOps practices.

• Database skills: SQL Server, Entity Framework, optionally MongoDB/NoSQL

• Solid understanding of security best practices (OAuth, encryption, OWASP).

Preferred (Bonus) Qualifications

• Certifications: Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect, AWS, TOGAF, CISSP.

• Knowledge of SOA standards (WCF/REST), CI/CD pipelines, logging and monitoring tools.

• Client-facing experience with financial or insurance products, .NET customizations, or CMS platforms.
