SUMMARY
American Thermal Instruments, a leader in the temperature solutions industry, is looking for a sharp, motivated and meticulous Electronics Room Operator. You will be assembling, programming, and troubleshooting electronic temperature monitoring device products before they are supplied to our customers. This is an ideal position for an individual that has a keen eye for the smallest details and enjoys being hands on while working with a dynamic team.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assemble electronic monitoring devices, which includes but is not limited to; assembling cases, applying labels, and putting batteries in devices.
Prepare finished product for shipment to customer, which includes but is not limited to; visual inspection, assorted paperwork, and boxing/packaging.
Provide troubleshooting support to both internal and external customers for multiple lines of temperature monitoring devices.
Create the needed documentation for the products, which includes but is not limited to; COA, COC, labels, Calibration certificates and QC documents.
Ability to follow work rules to program products, which includes but is not limited to; programming, serializing, flashing firmware, and creating/assigning temperature profiles.
Input data into ERP system to assist with production operation, raw material and finished good tracking.
Process returns and rework products as needed.
Adheres to the Quality Policy, including all items assigned to this position in accordance with ISO, FDA & Company policies, procedures, and work instructions.
Maintains safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.
Conserves resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing Objectives and Key Results, while being committed to living the company values.
Receives and checks in all customer recalibrations.
Pulls product for new calibrations.
Records all serial numbers and test results for equipment being calibrated.
Writes calibration certificates for all calibration products.
Pulls stock and builds kits that need calibration.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
The candidate must possess a high school diploma or GED. Successful characteristics include being detail oriented, self-motivated and capable of working well under pressure within a team environment or on their own. Candidate must have the ability to read and follow work instructions. Candidate must be computer literate with good working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet and database applications.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Working conditions are normal for a warehouse environment with varying temperatures depending on the external climate and specific work cell. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; balance; stoop; kneel; climb; crouch or crawl; talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and identify colors (green, brown, blue). Working in this environment may require the use of safety equipment such as eye safety glasses and hearing protectors. Some mandatory overtime may be required.
