Responsibilities

• Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen tools efficiently and promptly.
• Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed to support culinary staff.
• Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations, kitchen floors, work surfaces, and storage areas to ensure a safe and hygienic environment.
• Support catering and banquet events by providing timely dishwashing and setup assistance.
• Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with health regulations.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth workflow during busy service periods.
• Dispose of waste responsibly and manage recycling processes according to established guidelines.

Experience

• Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, catering, or food service environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Familiarity with basic kitchen operations including bussing tables or food prep is a plus.
• Experience working in banquet settings or large-scale catering events is advantageous.
• Knowledge of cleaning procedures and safety standards within a culinary or hospitality setting is beneficial.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments are essential for success in this role.
