Contract IT Recruiter – 6-Month Contract (Potential to Convert)

Location:
Boston, MA (4 days onsite / Fridays remote)

Pay:
$55–$65/hr (Conversion range: $115,000–$140,000)

Start:
ASAP (Background check required; can start pending)

We're partnering with a well-established, nationally recognized organization in the construction and innovation space that is rapidly expanding its digital, data, and technology functions. They are looking for a
Contract IT Recruiter
to join their Boston-based Talent Acquisition team. This is a 6-month assignment with a strong possibility of conversion for a high-performing recruiter.

What You'll Do

  • Manage full-cycle recruiting for IT, Data, Innovation, and AI roles
  • Partner closely with hiring leaders to define needs, craft strategies, and set expectations
  • Proactively source and engage top technical talent through networking and research-driven outreach
  • Build and maintain pipelines for current and future technical hiring needs
  • Provide market insights and data-driven updates to stakeholders
  • Ensure an exceptional candidate experience aligned with organizational values
  • Maintain accurate ATS documentation (
  • Deliver weekly status updates on pipelines, search activity, and progress

What We're Looking For

  • 5–10 years
    of full-cycle recruiting experience, ideally focused on technical roles
  • Experience in
    AEC (architecture/engineering/construction)
    or adjacent industries strongly preferred
  • Proven success sourcing and placing candidates in areas like software engineering, data analytics, product, DevOps, and AI
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Strong relationship-building and consultative skills
  • Excellent communication, organization, and follow-through
  • ATS experience required (iCIMS a plus)
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
