Housekeeper

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to uphold the cleanliness and overall appearance of our hospitality environment. Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of resident rooms, and public areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
• Maintain cleanliness of floors through proper floor care techniques such as sweeping, scrubbing, and polishing to ensure safety and aesthetic appeal.
• Follow established protocols for waste disposal and linen handling to promote environmental sustainability and hygiene standards.
• Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations, including proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Assist with special cleaning projects involving industrial or deep-cleaning tasks as required.
• Support housekeeping management by maintaining organized storage areas and ensuring all equipment is properly maintained and stored securely.

Experience

• Proven experience in cleaning or custodial roles within hospitality or industrial environments is essential.
• Prior long-term care housekeeping experience is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of various cleaning techniques, including floor care methods such as stripping, sealing, waxing, and buffing floors.
• Experience with janitorial equipment and industrial cleaning tools is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of health regulations related to sanitation and safety practices in commercial settings, is helpful.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
