Role: Senior AWS Engineer

Location:: Tysons Corner, VA (Work onsite 4 days a week in Tysons)

Clearance: Must be US Citizen & able to obtain Public Trust Clearance

Job Type: Full-time

Mandate: Prior experience working with federal client or federal contractor is needed.

This role is for a
Senior AWS Engineer
who is an expert in:

Core Work

You will mainly:

• Build AWS cloud environments using
  Terraform
  (Infrastructure as Code).
• Create and automate
  CI/CD pipelines
  (Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions, etc.).
• Automate deployments using
  Python scripting
  .
• Work heavily with
  AWS services
  like Lambda, Glue, Step Functions.
• Work with
  Docker + Kubernetes
  (platform engineering).
• Build automation tools, self-service capabilities, and developer platforms.
• Mentor other engineers, lead technical direction.
• Collaborate with teams, architects, vendors, leadership, etc.

Core Skills Required

Must have:

• 7+ years AWS experience (deep hands-on).
• 7+ years DevOps/DevSecOps.
• Terraform (Expert).
• Kubernetes (Strong).
• Python scripting.
• CI/CD automation.
• Docker & containerization.
• AWS services like Lambda, Glue, Step Functions.

Good to have:

• Kratix (Internal Developer Platform).
• Argo CD (GitOps).
