Duties

• Safely operate various vehicles including box trucks and commercial trucks with manual transmissions to deliver products across designated routes.
• Load and unload cargo efficiently using equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts, ensuring items are secured properly for transit.
• Plan and follow optimized delivery routes to maximize efficiency and meet delivery schedules.
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting clients professionally, answering questions, and ensuring their satisfaction upon delivery.
• Verify delivery details, obtain signatures, and complete all necessary documentation accurately.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure safety standards are met; report any maintenance issues promptly.
• Assist with warehouse tasks such as inventory management, moving stock, and organizing supplies when not on delivery routes.
• Handle heavy lifting safely during loading/unloading processes and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues that arise during routes.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience driving box trucks or similar vehicles preferred.
• Proven delivery driver experience or courier background demonstrating reliable route driving skills.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
• Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, or other warehouse equipment is a plus.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks involving moving goods safely.
• Knowledge of manual transmission vehicles is desirable; willingness to learn if necessary.
• Familiarity with route planning, load & unload procedures, and safety protocols on the road.
• Warehouse experience including inventory management or moving supplies is advantageous.
• A proactive attitude with excellent time management skills to meet tight schedules.
