Admissions Coordinator

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Admissions Coordinator to join our team. This role is essential in managing the admissions process and providing exceptional customer service to prospective patients. The ideal candidate will have experience in a substance abuse and mental health environment and possess strong administrative skills. As an Admissions Coordinator, you will be the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients upon arrival, providing excellent customer service.
• Manage the admissions process, including scheduling appointments and maintaining patient records.
• Utilize Kipu software for patient management and administrative tasks.
• Answering phone calls and responding to inquiries.
• Collaborate with staff to ensure seamless communication regarding patient needs.
• Accurately input and update medical terminology in patient records.
• Assist with interventions as needed, ensuring efficient workflow.

Experience

• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff.
• Proficiency in office management practices, including computerized systems.
• Familiarity with medical terminology is an asset.
• Excellent typing skills and attention to detail are essential for maintaining accurate records.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
