Job Purpose

The Creative Manager supports the Creative Director in leading the day-to-day development, production, and delivery of creative assets for Alliance Home Entertainment's packaged media, digital, and consumer product releases. This role manages assigned titles from concept through completion, overseeing creative workflow, timelines, and vendor coordination while ensuring alignment with brand standards and studio strategy.

The Creative Manager also plays a key operational role by managing purchase orders (POs) and budgets for assigned projects, ensuring accurate tracking and efficient processing across the Creative Services department.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management & Title Ownership

  • Manage assigned titles as designated by the Creative Director, overseeing the creative process from briefing through delivery.
  • Maintain detailed project timelines, tracking milestones and deliverables to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders on assigned titles, communicating project status and approvals.

Creative Development & Execution

  • Translate creative direction and briefs into actionable deliverables for designers, vendors, and freelancers.
  • Review artwork and layouts for consistency, quality, and alignment with Alliance's creative and brand standards.
  • Support the Creative Director in developing innovative, market-driven packaging and promotional materials that enhance title visibility and consumer appeal.

Design

  • Design Amazon ad banners, A+ content, product detail page assets, and other retail marketing executions across e-commerce platforms.
  • Produce high-quality creative using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and other Adobe Suite tools.
  • Experienced in PowerPoint and designing marketing presentation decks.

Vendor & Production Management

  • Coordinate with internal design staff and external vendors, illustrators, photographers, and post-production partners to ensure high-quality creative output.
  • Manage the flow of assets, file deliveries, and approvals between vendors, the Creative Director, and internal teams.
  • Ensure final creative assets meet technical specifications and are properly archived per Alliance's standards.

Budgeting & Purchase Orders

  • Create, track, and maintain purchase orders for assigned titles within Alliance's PO and accounting systems.
  • Monitor project budgets and reconcile vendor invoices in coordination with Finance.
  • Support the Creative Director in maintaining departmental budget accuracy and reporting.

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Partner with marketing, operations, and production teams to ensure creative assets support title strategies and retail objectives.
  • Coordinate with sales and authoring teams to align packaging, menu design, and marketing materials.

Approvals & Delivery

  • Manage internal and external review cycles, ensuring timely approvals from the Creative Director and stakeholders.
  • Oversee quality control for final deliverables, confirming technical accuracy and compliance with Alliance standards before release.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3–5 years of experience in creative project management or design production, ideally within home entertainment, film, or consumer packaged goods.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and the full Adobe Creative Suite is required.
  • Experience creating Amazon ad banners, A+ content, and additional retail-focused creative assets for e-commerce platforms.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple active projects.
  • Experienced in PowerPoint and creating marketing presentation decks.
  • Familiarity with PO and project management tools (e.g., SAP, Workfront, or similar).
  • Understanding of packaging design, print production, and key art development.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, proactive mindset, and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
