We are seeking a proactive and skilled Facility Technician to join our dynamic maintenance team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of our facilities, including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. Duties

  • Perform routine and preventive maintenance on building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical equipment
  • Troubleshoot and resolve facility issues promptly using schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
  • Operate and calibrate programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to manage automated systems effectively
  • Conduct electrical repairs and wiring tasks with precision, adhering to safety standards
  • Utilize tools such as ohmmeters for testing electrical circuits and components
  • Lead small teams or supervise contractors during maintenance or repair projects
  • Maintain accurate records of work orders, inspections, and repairs using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
  • Execute residential painting tasks and perform welding as needed for facility repairs
  • Read and interpret schematics and technical drawings to diagnose issues accurately
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols during all maintenance activities

Requirements

  • Proven experience in facilities maintenance or related fields within manufacturing or industrial environments
  • Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by electrical experience and troubleshooting skills
  • Familiarity with schematics, wiring diagrams, and PLC programming is essential
  • Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and testing devices like ohmmeters effectively
  • Supervising experience is preferred to lead maintenance teams or contractors confidently
  • Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and teamwork
  • Knowledge of CMMS software for work order management and record-keeping
  • Residential painting skills are a plus for aesthetic repair tasks
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to supervise projects and guide team members
