Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure exceptional customer service in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of food service management, and a passion for hospitality. This role involves managing staff, maintaining high standards of food safety and quality, and ensuring the smooth functioning of the restaurant to deliver an outstanding dining experience.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise restaurant staff, including onboarding, training, and performance management
  • Oversee food preparation, presentation, and quality control to meet established standards
  • Manage inventory control, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste to optimize profitability
  • Operate POS systems such as TOAST POS for accurate cash handling and sales tracking
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards in kitchen and dining areas
  • Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Coordinate shift schedules, manage restaurant operations during peak hours, and optimize staffing levels
  • Implement training & development programs to enhance team performance and culinary skills
  • Monitor budgeting activities, cost controls, and overall financial performance of the restaurant
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to oversee food production, catering services, banquets, or other operations as needed
  • Collaborate closely with and report directly to the Director of Operations on all day-to-day restaurant operations, ensuring effective oversight of staff, service, finances, compliance, and overall restaurant performance.
  • Maintain a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, hospitality excellence, and professional growth

Skills

  • Proven experience in restaurant management with a strong background in food service operations
  • Extensive knowledge of POS systems such as TOAST; proficient in cash handling procedures
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in supervising teams within quick service & casual dining settings
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse guest needs effectively
  • Familiarity with food safety standards, health regulations, and inventory control practices
  • Ability to manage shift schedules efficiently while maintaining high operational standards
  • Culinary experience or kitchen management background preferred; including food preparation, food handling expertise and ability to jump behind the line.
  • Experience with budget management, training & development initiatives, and hospitality management principles
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interview prospective staff members and foster team development
  • Leadership qualities that promote a positive work environment while ensuring operational excellence

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60, $90,000.00 per year
