About
AMI is seeking an experienced General Maintenance Worker to join the team and maintain AMI's multiple office locations while providing high-quality work product. Candidates must be self-starters who can work independently and as a supportive member of the Maintenance team.

The General Maintenance Worker is responsible for, but not limited to:
- Completes general repairs to fix drywall, repairing doors, cabinets, and locks.
- Uses equipment, including power tools, hand tools, electric tools, and plumbing tools.
- Fixes or replaces lightbulbs, faulty ballasts, electrical switches, or outlets.
- Installs equipment and appliances.
- Orders supplies and materials as needed for repairs.
- Assists with general upkeep of facilities.
- Inspects and identifies equipment or machines in need of repair.
- Follows safety rules and use protective devices such as eye, ear, or skin protection.
- Responds to repair and maintenance requests in a timely manner.
- Prioritizes assigned work orders and coordinates with facility administrators.
- Communicates with AMI management, staff, providers, vendors, and third parties in a friendly and professional manner.
- Plans repair work using building's blueprints or equipment manual as needed.
- Ability to work under minimal supervision.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
This is a full time, 40 hour per week position with a work schedule Monday-Friday 9am-5:30pm. Travel to AMI offices in a company provided vehicle is a requirement of the position. Schedules and locations are subject to change based on business needs.
QualificationsCandidates must have a high school diploma, or equivalent. A minimum of 2 years of commercial or healthcare maintenance work experience is required. Candidates must have a valid driver's license, which is in good standing; an MVR is run at the time of offer acceptance.
Well-developed interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on verbal communication and professionalism are required for success in this position.
Candidates must have knowledge of general carpentry, repairs, and the ability to use hand tools and power tools. Candidates must be able to demonstrate high-quality work product, the ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment and make repairs that support a positive patient and employee experience.
Candidates must be willing to develop and maintain a general understanding of MRI and Radiology equipment safety.
