Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Estimator/Project Manager to join our team. As an Estimating/Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the estimating process for commercial construction projects. This is a key role within our organization, requiring strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of construction estimating principles.

Duties:

• Review project plans, specifications, and other documents to determine project scope and requirements

• Prepare accurate cost estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor services

• Utilize industry-standard software such as On-Screen Take-off & Quickbid to create detailed estimates

• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and comprehensive estimates

• Negotiate with suppliers to obtain competitive pricing

• Monitor project costs throughout the construction process and provide cost control recommendations

• Analyze historical data and industry trends to improve estimating accuracy

• Develop and maintain relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers

Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in construction estimating

• Strong knowledge of construction estimating principles and practices

• Proficiency in project management software and tools

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills

• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines

Pay: $60, $100,000.00 per year
