Job Summary
As a Shift Leader, you will be the driving force behind delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring smooth daily operations within a fast-paced, quick service and fast food restaurant environment. Your energetic leadership will motivate team members, uphold food safety standards, and manage all aspects of shift execution. Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate team members during your shift to deliver outstanding customer service and efficient food production.
- Oversee food preparation, cooking processes, and food handling to ensure quality standards are met consistently.
- Manage POS systems for accurate order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation.
- Supervise daily operations including inventory control, stock replenishment, and waste management to optimize food management.
- Train new staff members on food safety procedures, customer service protocols, and restaurant policies to ensure team development.
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and ensure a welcoming dining experience for all guests.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food service management or supervising teams within quick service or casual dining environments.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food safety standards.
- Familiarity with POS systems; cash handling experience is essential.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in staff training, team management, and supervising shifts.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate staff and engage customers effectively.
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
