Senior Data Scientist

World Wide Technology is looking for a Data Scientist . This role is part of WWT's Strategic Resourcing services and is a contract role. The candidate will be supporting a WWT customer and will be employed by one of WWT's preferred partners. The partner will provide full compensation and benefit information prior to employment with the partner.

Title: Senior Data Scientist

Duration- 6 months (possible c2h)

Location: Remote or Hybrid – Supporting Denver-based team Seniority Target: Mid-to-Senior (5–10+ years experience)

Rate/Salary: $90/hr.

Job Description:

5+ years in Data Science or Machine Learning, ideally with progression

5+ into senior/lead roles

Hands-on experience tuning, fine-tuning, or adapting LLMs and transformer-based models Strong experience with Hugging Face, PyTorch, TensorFlow, or similar frameworks Experience deploying ML models in production environments (cloud or hybrid) Advanced Python expertise (Pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, transformers, etc.) Experience working with structured and unstructured data, including embeddings and text data Familiarity with MLOps concepts (ML pipelines, version control, containerization, model monitoring)

Certain states and localities require employers to post a reasonable estimate of salary range. A reasonable estimate of the current pay range for this position is $80 to $90 hourly. Actual pay will be based on a variety of factors, including shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs, and will be set by your employer. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in base pay.
