About
Backcountry Pizza & Tap House in Boulder is looking for EXPERIENCED & qualified line and pizza cooks to join our team This is a position with various hours per week. Scheduling is flexible. We are looking for someone with a great attitude and positive demeanor to join our team. You must be able to work quickly and efficiently. You must take pride in the food you cook and always strive to present the best product. Line cook duties will consist of assisting the lead and prep cook on daily tasks. We are looking for hard working & reliable folks.
Shifts begin at 9am, 12pm, & 4pm. All shifts end at various times depending on business. Sunday - Thursday we close at 10pm, Friday - Saturday, 11pm.
Hourly Pay is dependent on experience and results.

Responsibilities
- Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies
- Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces)
- Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
- Answer, report and follow executive or sous chef's instructions
- Clean up station and take care of leftover food
- Stock inventory appropriately
- Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion
- Comply with sanitation regulations and safety standards
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
Skills
- Proven cooking experience, including experience as a line chef, restaurant cook, pizza cook, or prep cook
- Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
- Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
