POSITION - ESTIMATING ASSISTANT

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and organized Administrative Assistant to join our Customer Support department in our Lynbrook, NY office. This is an exceptional entry-level administrative opportunity to begin your career with a stable, established industry leader.

THE ROLE-DETAIL & SUPPORT FOCUS

As the Estimating Assistant, you will provide critical support to our Service and Alterations teams. The core of this position requires exceptional typing speed (50 WPM minimum) and a meticulous approach to administrative tasks. You will be responsible for the accurate and timely production of essential documentation.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Document Generation: Accurately type and process all estimates and corresponding revisions.
  • Correspondence: Manage the distribution of completed estimates and information to customers and general contractors via email.
  • System & Filing Management: Maintain rigorous organization by creating physical folders, filing documents, and organizing filing cabinets.
  • General Office Support: Assist with basic data entry in Excel spreadsheets and provide professional coverage for the reception desk as needed.

  • The ideal candidate is proactive, highly organized, and possesses a strong work ethic to thrive in our in-office environment.

  • High School Diploma required.

  • Proven ability to type 50 WPM or faster.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a commitment to providing outstanding customer service and professionalism.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to work well with others, solve problems effectively, and remain calm and productive in a high-volume setting.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

    • Salary Range: $50,000 - $70,000
