Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Produce Warehouse Supervisor with a strong background in agriculture to join our dynamic team. The candidate joining our team will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the warehouse associates, including inventory management, order fulfillment, shipping and receiving, and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and operational procedures.
Duties:
- Supervise and lead a team of warehouse associates, including assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and providing training as needed at the San Bernardino facility.
- Coordinates with the Sales Manager, and the Logistics Manager to ensure that all daily inbound and outbound quality inspections are performed and documented in a timely manner, and that nonconforming produce is immediately identified and segregated and placed into Discrepancy Hold, and ensures the Discrepancy Hold releases are either cleared for shipment or dispositioned as waste, then promptly removed form inventory per instructions.
- Enforce safety policies and procedures to create a safe work environment for all warehouse personnel.
- Ensures all food products are handled properly to minimize damage, preserve quality, minimize microbial and cross contamination, and meet all state, local, and federal food safety policies and procedural requirements.
- Monitor daily schedule and shipping schedule to ensure orders are staged, counted and accurate and BOL documentation is prepared.

Qualifications and Experience:

- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, and divide, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals), and the ability to read, interpret, and understand pick lists, order sheets, and other documents.
- Excellent organizational, technical, and time management skills.
- Forklift Certification preferred.
- Must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull medium weights, up to 55 Lbs.
- Ability to walk, climb, stoop, sit and stand for an assigned shift.
- Frequently requires visual acuity, speech, vision, and hearing
- Ability to prioritize workload, multitask and expedite as required.
- Ability to deal effectively with different personalities.
- Ability to deal with exposure to temperature extremes (cold room work), humidity, heat, and exposure to various kinds of dust, pollen, fumes, gasses, and insects.
- Ability to use arms and fingers repetitively and perform fine manipulations.
- Ability to use a variety of powered and hand tools.
- Basic Computer Systems and applications knowledge, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), and use Bar Code/RFID systems is a plus.
- Fluently speak, read and write in Spanish, bilingual in Spanish and English preferred.

Schedule:
- 8-hour shift
Experience:
- 2 – 4 years warehouse first-line supervisory experience with order processing, production, inventory control, quality inspections, shipping, and receiving is required.
- Forklift certification.
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED is required
