$31, $49,340.00

Responsibilities
Reporting to the Administrative Officer, the primary purpose of this position is to independently serve as a Human Resource Recruiter in areas of position recruitment, qualification review, and salary administration. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Performing timesheet entry with accuracy for weekly payroll and may perform other HR duties upon request.
  • Assisting with the Hiring Process, scheduling interviews, preparing employment packages, completing employee references and background checks and new hire orientation.
  • Proficient communication both verbally and in writing
  • Providing quality customer service to applicants and hiring managers to facilitate recruitment and retention of qualified diverse applicants for the agency.
  • Evaluating applications for accuracy and completeness. Analyzing education and work history against the classification specification following Office of State Personnel and Department of Adult Correction's policy and guidelines.
  • Reviewing hiring packages to ensure the most qualified applicant was selected in compliance with Office of State Personnel and Department of Adult Correction's Human Resource policy and procedures.
  • Evaluating and recommending salary based on qualifications, equity, and salary administration policies.
  • Oversee special projects assigned by management, including researching and gathering data, developing recommendations for implementation of projects

Work Schedule
This is a full-time position (40 hours per week) with The selected candidate will work Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm. Hours may vary at times depending on the business needs of the facility.
