About

OrthAlign, Inc., a Smart Technologies, growing medical device company, has an immediate opening for a newly added role of Sales Data Analyst responsible for designing, implementing, and managing sales compensation programs, driving data-driven insights, and optimizing sales performance in partnership with Sales, Marketing, Finance and Commercial Operations. This role ensures compensation plans, reporting tools, and business intelligence solutions align with company strategy and objectives.

Duties

  • Responsible for implementing and maintaining Sales Reporting, KPIs, and analytics tools to deliver actionable insight into sales data using Power BI, ERP system, and other data visualization platforms.
  • Coordinate monthly meetings with sales teams, leadership, and other key stakeholders to review sales performance, discuss challenges, and align reporting priorities.
  • As a strategic partner with Sales and Marketing, provide data-driven insights to proactively identify and execute opportunities to improve sales performance and accelerate market growth.
  • Partner with Sales Operations and Finance to maintain a reliable commercial data framework and reporting structure for strategic decision-making.
  • In collaboration with the Sr. ERP/BI Analyst, liaison between business users and technical teams to define and deliver reporting that meets the requirements.

  • Build financial and statistical models (including regression and sensitivity analyses) to assess sales plan effectiveness and ensure alignment with business targets.

  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and KPIs for sales performance tracking and compensation plan integrity.
  • In partnership with Sales and Finance Leadership, design, model, and analyze internal and external sales compensation plans and incentive programs to drive strategic initiatives that support company goals.
  • Provide an estimate of the full-year financial impact of compensation programs and reconcile payout data.
  • Manage monthly processing, reporting, and payout approvals in a timely and accurate manner.
