What You'll DoConference Sales & Lead Generation
- Travel frequently during peak seasons (3–4 days/week).
- Represent the company at industry conferences and generate high-value leads.
- Manage conference preparation, booth logistics, outreach, and follow-up.
Lead Management & Sales Process
- Own inbound and outbound leads generated through conferences and agency partners.
- Conduct discovery calls, deliver demos, and guide prospects through proposals and closing.
- Maintain consistent follow-up and pipeline progression.
Data-Driven Sales Operations
- Maintain strong CRM hygiene (HubSpot preferred).
- Track conversion metrics, forecast pipeline health, and evaluate conference ROI.
- Use data to refine outreach strategy and improve sales playbooks.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Coordinate with marketing and external outbound partners.
- Align materials, messaging, workflows, and follow-up schedules for conferences.
Requirements
- Ability to travel ~75% during peak seasons
- STEM degree or technical/scientific work background
- 5–7 years in sales or business development
- GovTech or public-sector technology experience strongly preferred
- High proficiency in HubSpot or similar CRM
- Strong communication, project management, and relationship-building skills
- Operates independently and thrives in a hands-on, metrics-focused role
- Female candidates strongly preferred (per client request)
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $70,000–$80,000
