Join our team as a Warehouse Associate in Detroit, Michigan, and play a vital role in our distribution center. We are looking for dependable individuals who can contribute to the efficient and safe handling of goods within our logistics network. This role involves a variety of tasks, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping orders. You will work closely with a dedicated team to ensure that our warehouse operations run smoothly and that customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on time. Responsibilities:
- Receive and process incoming inventory.
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently.
- Stock and organize inventory within the warehouse.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment as needed.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with cycle counts.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all safety guidelines.
- Ensure proper use of required PPE.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks as directed.
- Contribute to team efforts to meet daily operational goals.
Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse or general labor experience is a plus, but not required.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring physical exertion, including lifting up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Understanding of basic warehouse operations and logistics principles.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Commitment to following safety procedures and protocols.
- Willingness to wear required PPE.
- Basic reading and math skills.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
