You will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating forklifts and other powered industrial trucks to move materials within our warehouse. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts, reach trucks, and other material handling equipment to load, unload, transport, and stack materials.
- Perform pre-operation inspections of equipment to ensure it is in good working order.
- Read and interpret production schedules, pick lists, or shipping orders to determine materials to be moved.
- Move products and materials from receiving to storage or staging areas, and from storage to shipping docks.
- Ensure accurate placement of goods in designated storage locations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Properly use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by safety regulations.
- Assist with inventory management, including cycle counts and stock rotation.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns immediately to supervisors.
- Support overall warehouse logistics operations and team goals.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a forklift operator with valid certification. High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Excellent knowledge of warehouse operations and safety procedures. Strong understanding of logistics and inventory management. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines. Good communication and teamwork skills. Must be reliable and safety-conscious. Ability to work flexible hours as needed.
