Join our dynamic logistics team as a Forklift Operator in sunny Phoenix, Arizona! We are seeking a motivated and experienced individual to operate forklifts safely and efficiently within our bustling warehouse environment. You will be responsible for moving, locating, relocating, stacking, and staging products. This role is crucial to our daily operations, ensuring the smooth flow of goods from receiving to shipping. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a strong commitment to safety, and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting. You'll be an integral part of a team dedicated to excellence in warehouse management and supply chain efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach truck) to move materials around the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks and containers with incoming and outgoing goods.
- Stack and organize products in designated areas, ensuring proper inventory management.
- Conduct daily pre-operation inspections of forklifts and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, including wearing appropriate PPE at all times.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock checks as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, free of obstructions.
- Follow all safety regulations and company guidelines to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues.
- Ability to perform manual lifting of up to 50 lbs consistently.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator.
- Valid forklift certification or ability to obtain one.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics.
- Knowledge of proper lifting techniques and material handling.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and the use of PPE.
