As an Order Picker, you will play a key role in our warehouse operations, responsible for locating, retrieving, and staging items for shipment. Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret order sheets or use RF scanners to locate and pick specified items.
- Retrieve items accurately from designated shelf locations within the warehouse.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure correctness.
- Transport picked items to the designated packing or staging area.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all established safety procedures and guidelines, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and dollies.
- Report any inventory discrepancies or product damages to a supervisor.
- Contribute to overall inventory accuracy through precise picking.
- Meet or exceed order picking productivity targets.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a warehouse setting is advantageous.
- Ability to perform regular lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Strong spatial reasoning and ability to navigate a large warehouse efficiently.
- Commitment to adhering to safety protocols and wearing required PPE.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and perform repetitive motions for extended periods.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Basic understanding of logistics and warehouse management systems.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
