Your responsibilities will include receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping orders. Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders.
- Stock inventory accurately in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and pack customer orders with precision and speed.
- Prepare orders for shipment, ensuring proper packaging and labeling.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently, such as pallet jacks and forklifts (certification may be required).
- Conduct inventory counts and assist with inventory management.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding inventory levels and operational issues.
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory and process orders.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting, typically up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Understanding of warehouse safety procedures and the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of inventory control principles.
- Experience with WMS software is beneficial.
