We are seeking a reliable Warehouse Associate to join our team in Nashville, Tennessee. This position is key to our daily operations, responsible for the effective handling of goods within our distribution center. You will participate in various warehouse functions, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping orders. Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming shipments, verify accuracy against documentation, and report any discrepancies.
- Organize and store inventory in designated areas, ensuring proper rotation and accessibility.
- Accurately pick items to fulfill customer orders and prepare them for packing.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently for shipment, ensuring product protection.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe warehouse environment.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, with a strong emphasis on Safety.
- Wear all mandated Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Perform tasks involving Lifting of goods, following established guidelines.
- Support the overall Logistics operations through diligent work and teamwork.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous warehouse or general labor experience is a plus.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent standing, walking, bending, and Lifting.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Understanding of basic warehouse Safety procedures.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts if required.
- Familiarity with Logistics operations is advantageous.
Working Conditions:
This position is located in a busy warehouse setting. It requires consistent physical activity, including significant time spent standing, walking, and engaging in frequent Lifting. All employees must strictly follow Safety guidelines and wear the appropriate PPE. This role is vital to our Logistics success, requiring efficiency and a focus on Safety.
