We are looking for motivated and efficient Order Pickers to join our team in Boise, Idaho. In this critical role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting and preparing customer orders for shipment. Your attention to detail and speed will directly impact customer satisfaction and the overall efficiency of our logistics operations. You will utilize various picking methods, such as voice-picking, RF scanning, or manual lists, to locate items in the warehouse. This role requires physical stamina, as you will be on your feet for extended periods, navigating aisles, and performing repetitive lifting and bending motions. Safety is paramount in our warehouse; therefore, strict adherence to safety protocols and the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory. Understanding warehouse layouts and maintaining high levels of accuracy are key to success. Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on customer orders or picking lists.
- Utilize RF scanners, voice-picking systems, or manual lists to locate and retrieve products.
- Verify picked items against order requirements to ensure accuracy.
- Package picked items securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Stage completed orders for shipping or further processing.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all safety guidelines, including the proper use of PPE, and report any hazards.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned, such as stocking or inventory checks.
- Meet established productivity and accuracy targets.
- Assist with other logistics tasks as needed to support the team.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in order picking or warehouse operations preferred.
- Ability to read and understand picking lists and product labels.
- Experience with RF scanners or other warehouse technology is a plus.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and perform repetitive lifting for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Commitment to workplace safety and the proper use of PPE.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
