Our distribution center in Miami, Florida, is looking for enthusiastic Distribution Center Associates to join our logistics team. This role is multifaceted, involving various essential functions within the warehouse to ensure the smooth flow of goods. As a Distribution Center Associate, you will be involved in receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping operations. Your primary goal will be to contribute to the efficient and accurate processing of all inbound and outbound shipments, directly impacting customer satisfaction. Key responsibilities include unloading delivery trucks, verifying shipment contents, organizing inventory, and accurately fulfilling orders. You will also prepare items for shipment, ensuring they are properly packed and labeled. This position requires physical endurance, including significant standing, walking, and lifting objects up to 55 pounds. A strong commitment to safety is mandatory; all associates must wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and strictly follow all safety guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries. Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments efficiently and safely.
- Verify contents of shipments against purchase orders and packing slips.
- Stock merchandise in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick items accurately to fulfill customer orders.
- Pack orders securely for shipment, ensuring product protection.
- Label packages correctly for transit.
- Load outbound trucks for delivery.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Comply with all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Perform inventory cycle counts as needed.
- Practice safe lifting techniques for all materials handled.
