We are seeking a motivated and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily operations at our state-of-the-art facility in Columbus, Ohio. The ideal candidate will lead a team of warehouse associates, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and adherence to all company policies and safety procedures. This is a critical role in our logistics network, responsible for maintaining optimal inventory levels, managing workflows, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. You will be instrumental in fostering a positive and productive work environment, coaching team members, and resolving operational challenges. Key responsibilities include scheduling staff, monitoring performance metrics, coordinating with other departments, and ensuring the timely and accurate processing of incoming and outgoing shipments. A strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) is essential. We prioritize the safety of our employees and require strict adherence to all safety regulations, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE ). The ability to perform tasks involving lifting up to 50 lbs is necessary. Responsibilities:
- Supervise and guide a team of warehouse associates.
- Ensure efficient and accurate order fulfillment.
- Maintain inventory accuracy and organization.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures.
- Manage daily operational schedules and workflows.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback.
- Identify and implement process improvements.
- Coordinate with transportation and other departments.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies.
- Operate and maintain warehouse equipment safely.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Proven experience in warehouse supervision or a similar leadership role.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Familiarity with logistics and supply chain operations.
- Commitment to workplace safety and the use of PPE .
- Ability to perform tasks involving significant lifting .
