About
We are seeking an attentive and methodical Inventory Clerk to join our warehouse team in Denver, Colorado. This position is critical for maintaining accurate inventory records, conducting cycle counts, and ensuring the overall integrity of our stock. You will be responsible for monitoring inventory levels, investigating discrepancies, and implementing procedures to minimize stock errors. A strong focus on detail, organization, and understanding warehouse logistics is essential for success in this role. Your work directly supports efficient operations and reliable order fulfillment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
- Investigate and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
- Update inventory records in the Warehouse Management System (WMS) accurately.
- Monitor stock levels and report low stock or overstock situations.
- Assist in organizing and maintaining warehouse stockroom.
- Track the movement of inventory within the facility.
- Implement and enforce inventory control procedures.
- Identify damaged or expired goods and process them according to company policy.
- Ensure the warehouse is organized and conducive to efficient inventory management.
- Adhere to all safety regulations, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), to ensure a safe logistics environment.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as an Inventory Clerk, Warehouse Assistant, or similar role.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and WMS is highly preferred.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 40 lbs.
- Understanding of inventory control principles and warehouse logistics.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Commitment to safety procedures and the use of PPE.
