Join our dynamic logistics team in Raleigh, North Carolina, as a Picker/Packer! We are seeking energetic and detail-oriented individuals to accurately select and prepare customer orders for shipment. This role is fundamental to our warehouse operations, ensuring that every order is fulfilled with precision and speed. You will be responsible for utilizing warehouse equipment and adhering to strict safety protocols to maintain efficiency and accuracy. Your dedication to quality work is essential for our success.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves using scanners or pick lists.
- Verify picked items against order documentation to ensure correctness.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare orders for outbound logistics.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, including cycle counts.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, especially regarding safety and quality standards.
- Must be comfortable with regular lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times during operation.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in picking, packing, or general warehouse work is beneficial.
- Ability to read and understand product labels and order details.
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
- Physical capacity to stand, walk, bend, and lift repetitively throughout the shift.
- Understanding of warehouse logistics principles is an asset.
- Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to safety guidelines.
- Willingness to wear required PPE.
